INSA Lyon's Sports Centre and sports activities
The office of the Sports Centre is located in premises situated above the swimming pool. It welcomes students every day from 8.45am to 12.30pm and from 1.45pm to 5.00pm. EPS teachers hold classes every week: 1h30 per week for each student during the time periods indicated in the timetable.
Thursday afternoons are dedicated to sports events within the framework of the French University Sports Federation (Fédération Française du Sport Universitaire). These events are prepared with 1 or 2 weekly training sessions, in each speciality.
In order to meet the requirements of their sporting investment, students who are "high level athletes" are taken care of more broadly (support courses, mental preparation, osteopathy).
The teachers are all specialised in one or more sports, and they also share the administrative functions that are necessary for the smooth running of the Sports Centre.
